Quva was a Dutch start-up, founded in 2016, born from the need to waste less food. The goal was to develop a practical product that makes mindful food consumption a part of everyday life. With Quva’s vacuum sealing machine, you contribute to reducing food waste and improving the cooking experience.
How do we develop a product that is integrated into your kitchen and available for use at any moment? All functionalities, the vacuum pump and the roll-up system, must fit into a small space that can be accommodated under the kitchen counter.
Process
Having the right people in the right place throughout the entire product development process was central to Quva’s development. A complete unburdening for this start-up resulted in a collaboration in which PEZY was responsible for the product development. This included developing a demonstrator to attract investors to Quva. The focus was on combining innovative functionality with a premium design into a feasible and affordable product.
